Commercial real estate investors who maintain a CCIM designation are usually recognized as professionals in their field. The CCIM Institute offers courses and tools that aid in the commercial real estate business. After completing the required curriculum, CCIM members gain access to a number of resources including a professional profile.
While employed at CCIM Institute, I completed several projects that improved both the productivity of staff, and the value of a CCIM membership. My main focus in this position was the corporate website that was built with Drupal 6. My responsibilities included everything from customizations to server administration tasks for the site. Some major improvements to the site that I completed include fixing performance issues with the LDAP integration, creating a custom module for searching and displaying the course catalog, and custom modules for integrating a third-party's single sign-on product. I also worked on several other internal sites that were built with CakePHP, Kohana, Java, and DotNetNuke.
